Downloading and Playing Digital Contents Everywhere Legally
In the future, I hope it’s not difficult to download content like movie or other digital products like e-book once purchase, the user can use on some device legally.
The piracy is so popular now, to download software, movie on the internet without paying the producers. A consortium of digital entertainment plans to develop new standard digital product, so buyers can play the content or other digital products on any type of hardware freely and legally.
The name of the consortium is Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (DECE), as reported on Businessweek.com in September 2008.
As we know that digital products we purchase may only be used in a device like laptop, cellular phone or other device. This certainly restricts us to share to other device.
Digital or other copyright product producers should find ways as like the consortium in above. So consumers can purchase digital products for sharing easily without restriction but the producers also get optimum profit by distributing digital products as many as possible with low price.
