Signs of Anemia

Data of World Health Organization (WHO), saying two billion world population are affected by anemia. Signs of anemia include pale skin, feeling tired, short breath, easily broken nails, poor taste, and front headache. However, sometimes there are no complaints when patients experienced mild anemia.

Other signs of anemia is when the hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood is less than 13 g% for men and less than 12 g% for women. While anemia for children age 6 months to 5 years, Hb content in the blood is less than 11 g%. Children aged 6-14 years, Hb content is less than 12 g%.
