Causes of Stroke
Cerebrovascular accident or CVA can be defined as disorder in human´s brain or stroke. Causes of stroke is when blood flow into certain parts in the brain is suddenly stopped. Therefore, the oxygen cannot reach in these areas.
Lacking of oxygen can destruct or even kill brain´s cells. The damaged brain´s cells will cause decrease in the body functions that are controlled by the damaged part of brain.
Causes of stroke can be happened becaused by fat pile and formed plaque (debris) in the vein, causes blood flow stagnancy into the brain, known as emboli stroke.
Trombus (blood clot) is formed in the artery and causes blood flow in the brain stops, known as thrombosis stroke. The damage in the brain´s artery veins causes bleeding, known as bleeding stroke. It is usually caused by hypertension.
Causes of stroke factors such as smoking, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, valve heart disease, alcohol, and coffee. And of course, causes of stroke can be caused by hyper-cholesterol that never consider healthy life style which can cause obesity or stress.
As a clinical description, thrombosis stroke usually occurs at the old age. Less from 50 years old. If someone has risk factor, it can occur in the young age. Thrombosis stroke can also suddenly occur when taking a rest or when waking up from the bed. Often, the patient is still awaking, no headache and vomiting, the tension is normal or a little bit high.
It can also occur the disorder in nerve functions (palsy on the half of the body, hard to talk, cannot swallow and so on). While in the emboli stroke, the patient is usually at the young age, has risk factors such as valve heart disease, and the patient usually has good consciousness, normal tension or a little bit lower. If the patient is being checked, we will find heart noise in the chest and fibrillation atrial (heartbeat disorder).
So, causes of stroke should be identified and anticipated as soon as possible before stroke attack or cerebrovascular accident really happened.
