Headache Type Caused by Muscle Strain

Almost every person had this headache type, and it was predicted that four from five persons who had surgery would get the same disease. This type is varied and many people experience it everyday. The pain in this headache type is caused by contraction in the skin head muscles, begun from the bottom of neck, spread upward, and reached forehead. Classically, this headache type emerges sensation as if a weight thing burdened our head, or feels like head is tied with rope. Sometimes, not all skin heads are attacked, therefore the pain is localized in an area where the muscles are stressed, usually right above two eyes.
Stress usually cause it. But not just stress cause it. Everything that causes stress in the muscles of neck and skin head could lead to headache. It is usually emerges because of fatigue, unhealthy work situation, or improper posture because the body stay in the same position in long period. Many computer programmers and secretary experience it, because they have to sit in front of computer keyboard for many hours continuously. Sitting behind the steering wheel in a very long journey usually causes headache because of muscle’s tension that is too difficult to avoid.

Headache Type Caused by Migraine

Recently, I saw a drawing sequence, made by people who had migraine, showed how their feeling when being attacked by migraine. I was touched to see how each of them demonstrated a very personal self view about migraine. Each drawing had a very individualism character, such as migraine episode, despite its character almost similar between one another. Actually, migraine is a form of severe headache and weaken our body because usually the person who suffered it will frequently have vomit, diarrhea, visual disorder, and feel sleepy. Generally, only a side part of the head which felt pain and it felt like “drilled through the head side”.
The pain of migraine is caused by widening on blood vessels in the lower brain. It’s a form of headache characteristic that felt like throbbed. But it’s quiet frequent, but not always, migraine was started by narrowing of the same veins, which typically caused visual disorder, before real headache occurs. It is estimated, these changes are caused by formation of some chemical substances in the brain stem, which its production is stimulated by external factors. Same as headache caused by muscle tension, stress is also an important factor, despite there are also some other factors.

Headache Type Caused by Sinusitis

If you often caught a cold, or live in area with high air pollution, headache caused by kongesti(excessive blood in the nerves) in the nose sinus is considered as an usual thing. Industrial smoke, cars, cigarette smoke, dust, and powder, all combined and poisoned the atmosphere, caused sinusitis disease or inflammation in mucous membrane in the nose cavity. Sinus is holed or cavited, where air is fulfilled space in the cheek bone and forehead bones, and throbbing headache characteristic felt above or behind the eyes. These cavities are directly related with nose through the narrow cavities. Its main function are producing mucous for nose channel. This liquid acted as lung’s shelter by trapping every strange particle inhaled with air we inhale. If the nose cavities are interrupted, caused by pollution or ordinary caught a cold, these cavities will dismiss large of liquids. These excessive mocous will flow narrow cavities to the nose, but it often the cavities are already narrowed or even blocked because of the same reason, disturbs sinus cavity. This mucous stagnancy causes infection and pressure behind sinus cavity. Because these sinus cavities are surrounded by bones, they could develop to release from this pressure and it would cause severe pain, and characteristic headache.

Headache Type Caused by High Blood Tension

Headache is a prior signs of your blood tension increase. The main function of heart is pumping blood to all organs across blood vessels. The veins and vessels is like one pipe series. If they are narrowing because of anything, the heart must work with higher tension to pull over blood in the same quantity as usual. If the heart must beat in the high tension for a long period, it will be weakened and finally getting weaken and causes a death before the time it should be. The cause of blood tension increase is still a mystery, but research showed that when the blood tension is back to normal, the live hope will not be decreased.
The problem is, high blood tension probably becomes dangerous beginning from some symptoms. The first manifestation, is usually throbbing headache in the back of head. Another fact showed, this headache is more severe will occurs when waking up from sleep, while other headaches can be healed by sleeping. Sleepy, body becomes weak, vision disorder and heartbeat can be included as other signs. But it often happens after the blood tension has been diagnosed!
