First, find an idea or demand in the market, then research your competition. Look for a better way to do or offer services. Second write out a 5 year plan. And then after a week of more research. Rewrite it. We believe that knowing competition inside and out gave us a great advantage.

Invest your time, money & effort into a business name, it is strongly advised that comprehensive research be conducted to ensure that the name you’re interested in is truly available.

My suggestion would be to start by selling things out of your house and garage placing ads in the local newspaper advertising your little shop. Tell friends and family to tell their friends and small things like that and if it is successful you could invest in renting a shop.
